Comments Data similar to ICES for North Sea IBTS-Q1. CPUE per length per haul downloaded from DATRAS on 23/06/2020. Selected for NS-IBTS, Q1 only, all ships, all areas, GOV trawl only. CPUE calculated for all unique hauls (based on year-quarter-vessel name-haul number). The mean CPUE was calculated by roundfish area by year. The mean annual CPUE was then calculated from the mean CPUE by roundfish area by year, excluding roundfish areas 5 and 10 (Roundfish area 5 is outside the main thorny skate grounds, and more potential for misidentifications with thornback ray, Roundfish area 10 is outside the main distributional area). Data restricted to 1980 onwards for Q1, as data prior to then did not give great coverage of RF areas 1-4 and 6-9.
